Cookie Policy

The short version. This site uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We store a small number of essential values in your browser so the site works correctly, run privacy-safe cookieless analytics by default, and set analytics cookies only after you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice.

Essential storage we always use. These are set via localStorage, not transmitted to us, and never used for tracking: ol-theme (your light/dark preference), ol-popup-dismissed (so our one offer popup stays closed after you close it), ol-push-dismissed (so the notification opt-in card stays closed after you decline it), and ol-consent (your cookie choice itself).

Analytics & performance. We use Google Analytics 4 (loaded via Google Tag Manager) with Google Consent Mode v2. Until you choose "Accept", it runs in cookieless mode: no analytics cookies are set and only aggregated, anonymous pings are sent so we can see overall page performance. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its standard first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*, lifetime up to 13 months) to distinguish returning visits. We use this solely to understand which pages help visitors and where the site can improve — never for advertising. Declining never breaks the site.

Push notifications (optional). If you opt in to browser notifications, our provider OneSignal stores a subscription identifier in your browser (via localStorage/IndexedDB) so we can deliver the alerts you asked for. Nothing is stored unless you click "Allow" on your browser's own permission prompt, and you can unsubscribe at any time in your browser's site settings.

Third parties. Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard server logs (IP address, user agent) for security and delivery — this is infrastructure, not advertising. If you submit a contact form, the data you type is processed by our form provider (Formspree) to deliver your message; no cookie is set for this. Analytics data is processed by Google (Google Analytics / Tag Manager) as described above, and notification delivery by OneSignal only if you opt in.

Managing your choice. You can change your decision at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings — the notice will reappear on your next visit. You can also block all cookies in your browser; every page on this site continues to work.
